HOW WE MET
IT ALL STARTED AT HOWL...
We met back in 2011 while at Fordham at the infamous Howl at the Moon and started dating quickly thereafter. Despite spending our first Valentine’s Day at the Perfect Pint in Times Square (Ryan’s idea of romance at the time) we dated until Ryan (finally) proposed last December.

A DECADE LATER...
Just when everyone had given up all hope, Ryan surprised Carly on their Upper West Side rooftop over Sunday morning coffee, our favorite time together. If you’ve ever spent time with The Russell’s you know they never leave home without a camera or two. Here’s a quick look at that day.

LET’S REWIND TO RIGHT BEFORE COVID...
We love to travel and explore new places together. Right before the pandemic we were lucky enough to have spent a week in Tulum for Ryan’s 30th birthday and instantly fell in love with the beaches, the vibe and the food. We’re so excited to return this time with our closest friends and family!

Good news! Tulum is magical & we know you’ll love it as much as we do. Not so good news! The rest of the world seems to think so too, which means that post-pandemic Tulum is quite a bit pricier than it’s been in the past.
